Diandian’s study mainly focus on the microbial electrolysis cells. Specifically, her research subject is to splitting the electrolysis reaction into two steps through an electron-coupled proton buffers (ECPBs), which provides a flexible way that can store intermittent energy as a battery does and then release it to drive a MFC.
